I can't believe you hacked the site

It was going to be a user counter but couldn't get it to display the same amount across all the boards

(User counter as in "3 users from the last 10 minutes")

Are you trying to do something like the number that's next to "Example" in:
http://beastie.sdf.org:4200/
Open a tab to that page, and the duplicate the tab to see the number increase.
Delete tabs to see the number decrease.

Why not do it for each board?

And in the frameset menu, you could display the stats for each board separately.
That way, you can see where there are potentially new posts.
Maybe that could help make the site more active?
