Would you ever consider doing away with frames for site navigation? I have an idea that I'll implement as a userscript to demonstrate.
Would it be a navigation located at the top of all the boards?
Here's a rough draft. It does a lot of the same things the frame did without using frames.
UserScript:

Frameless navigation should be an option probably, but it would be through something like frameless.world2ch.net and I don't know if it would be possible without using something that could detect whether or not frames were in use to implement the frameless navigation or not.

I think it's a good idea as a Tapermonkey script, something like 4chan X.
That way, we could add extra features like an editable kaomoji list for example.
My biggest beef with the frameset is that it makes bookmarking difficult.

Is there anything to bookmark besides the main page? It's all a click away from there.
Individual boards, individual threads;
>>8 has one of my complaints, but I'll also chip in that frames fuck with the internet history too.
Reaaaally wish JS was about 10% less protective about domains.

I might be the only one using frameless navigation, but I updated it with the new links since piza.world2ch.net was retired, and everything seems to be consolidating into world2ch.net.

If the version says 1.1 instead of 1.2, try this link instead.

Personal use:
Site-wide:
I think this is better off being a userscript. Only the people who want this feature can use it, and no one else is affected.
