havent the kareha and wakaba scripts not been updated in like 15 years? how does world2ch use it safely? i always assumed it was self-maintained by the admins but

As far as I recall, it's a lightly modified kareha script. It's mostly safe because there's not really a whole lot of exploits, especially on the text input.
The imageboard uses a modified glaukaba, which... itself is a modified wakaba.
