i’ve been in a pachinko parlor obviously playing pachinko, and after leaving the first internet café in Shinjuku, I went to a GiGO to play a mahjong arcade game

I'm still at the Kabukicho internet cafe. A Japanese man spoke to me in English, I had a delicious ramen for dinner, and with the money I won at the pachinko machine I bought a shrimp snack, a chocolate bun, and a Coke. I hope to make some friends tomorrow. (´・ω・｀)

In Japan, the camera shutter sound is always on and you can't turn it off. They did that so people wouldn't secretly take upskirt photos of girls' panties. Kind of a shame, to be honest.

In the end, I ended up booking a week at the internet café. The problem is they give you a semi-private room with just a chair to sleep on. Sorry if I insulted you, it's just that I'm completely overwhelmed. Kabukicho is super stressful—I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to stay for a long time, and definitely not a capsule hotel or an internet café to sleep in. If you can save up, go for a proper apartment or a decent hotel.
