Does this do anything but lower the quality by making it into jpgs repeatedly wwww?
Do you shave, or do you keep a long shaggy beard going?
I guess the better question is, do you shave like a man with a real razor?
>>573I'm not that fancy.
>>571I don't shave but I should because I look even worse with a beard, I'm just lazy.
>>580Really depends on the extent of your beard. If it's less than an inch long and scraggly, then it probably looks ugly. If it's a UNIX beard, then I would argue it's majestic and a elevated status symbol.
I use an electric razor. It's not a particularly close shave, but it is also basically zero effort.
Who wants a ハンバーガ?
What would be your favorite way to die? Too many people say "old age" and a "long and fulfilling life", but you're more likely to go down in fame if you go out in blazes.I'd like to be a Captain of a battleship and be the only one to not evacuate while it's sinking, so I go down with the ship. People would completely romanticize the battle later on andI'd be remembered as a epic character in a partly fictional book!
>>552I haven't watched the original series from the 70s, but I did watch the remake Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
I've been listening to a lot of Yamato covers the last few days.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Og5r6jfZ3sg
>>554The impromptu collab with a fan at around 3:37 was wholesome and surprisingly good.
>>543I've been looking into the reincarnation soul trap theory over the last couple years, and my bigger concern is about what might happen after I die.
>>574If you get killed preaching The Gospel to pagans, then you will become a martyr, which from what I can tell is a step above your normal citizen in heaven. Think of it like a heavenly knight instead of a heavenly serf.
I love kettle chips, any flavor really but I prefer vinegary while not overpowering with it.
I'm basic but I like good ol' potato chips ( ´ω`)
What would that be? Lay's?
>>566 yeah, mostly them. Actually, I'm not a fan of chips at all. I don't even like Doritos and whatnot.
>>567No Doritos?! That's a major food group, what else are you doing on saturday and friday nights?!
>>568Play video gamez while eating bbq (´ー`)
This was my attempt at a DOOM2 speedrun on ultra-kill. It was pretty fun, but near the end I was endlessly cussing at the screen.Of course I was going off of saves, which I know makes it less genuine in the eyes of some, but I was mostly just trying out abunch of map shortcuts which, while made to look very easy by other people, took probably 20 tries on some because of howmuch finesse and chance they take.
This one specifically took VERY long, but I couldn't prevent myself from relentlessly trying at it because of how cool it looked when I found out about it.In the map Monster Condo, you can go pretty easily to the exit, but getting the red skull key to access the exit takes a lot more effort. However, thearchvile that stands guard in front of the exit for some reason has the ability to open the door if he walks in front of it. The hard part is trying tomanipulate him to walk to the door so you can rush to exit while not trying to get incinerated by his insane damage. All in all it's worth the tradeoff if you get it done right. Here is an example:https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=h8j2zj-A5tE&t=1263*Note that this guy makes it look insanely easy with one try because he likely has no life outside of this game. Also I meant ultra-violence in >>560, not ultra-kill

Gensōkyō Maiden Story!
I've noticed a new genre of image posting on twitter that takes advantage of how twitter lays out images in a vertical stack when certain conditions are met. I'm not exactly sure what those conditions are, but more on that later.1st examplehttps://x.com/ra_mm062/status/2009981506924827054
I've since found an explanation for how this works.https://roboin.io/article/2026/01/10/how-to-stack-images-vertically-on-x-and-common-issues-explained/ (Japanese)https://roboin.io/article/en/2026/01/11/how-to-stack-images-vertically-on-x-and-common-issues-explained/ (English)>>494> aloOot of cute galz! (´ー`) Girls just want to be stacked.https://search.yahoo.co.jp/realtime/search?p=%E3%82%BF%E3%83%83%E3%83%97%E3%81%99%E3%82%8B%E3%81%A8&ei=UTF-8&mtype=image
Seems twitter users finally learned how to make combos.
>>496This kind of combo wasn't possible until they introduced long posts provided more control over how media was embedded.https://x.com/NEOJAPO_miruka/status/2010018699772875025
If they were cooler they'd post really revealing images but make the gaps in-between be the censor bar.
>>522That's the obvious move to make. They'll get there eventually.

>>462Cloudflare has a free plan that only costs you allowing them to read and store all your users' data in plain text for DDOS mitgation.
>>465>I don't think it's even that great at stopping DDoS attacks eitherAlso depends on the threat. A global network like cloudflare is pretty much necessary to stop layer 3 and 4 DDOS attacks, but those are very rare for hobbyist sites. Most attacks are layer 7 and can be stopped or mitigated by a proof of work wall like Anubis.
>>469I didn't even know there were different layers of severity.
>>471https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSI_modelit's not a severity measure, but rather in what way the attack is taking placea layer 7 attack is easy to stop since it targets the way the server software handles requests, and thus it can just not even bother handling extraneous requestsa layer 4 or 3 attack basically overwhelms the infrastructure that handles routinga layer 2 attack... dunno, maybe just blasting garbage down the cable somehow? you're out of the range of anything you can do as a DDoS reasonably here, but you would basically be trying to affect the integrity of packets at this pointa layer 1 attack would probably basically just be going out and cutting cables lolyou are literally attacking the physical transmission medium herethese descriptions are heavily simplified and maybe I'm outright wrong (and maybe not just by omission) at some point, but whatever
layer 1 requires training a shiver of shark; it's not for everyone

Apparently, there is a variety of dango called "chinko dango"It actually looks pretty good, but I don't know if I would be able to keep a straight face while ordering it
Yes, I'd like the CHINKO!
I'd also buy the children's t-shirt for some kid to wear since they wouldn't know it said penis.
Was there an era where chinko DIDN'T mean penis? Like in English, there must have been a time when Dick didn't mean penis, because that used to be short for Richard.https://satsumasendai.gr.jp/feature/62072https://www.atusfoods.com/new
>>453Apparently it can also mean a short person. Maybe it's the same for how "weiner" originally referred to and sausage from vienna?
